Some of it was personal, but all business-related, and very badly-informed - so "he hasn't done this, this or this"

I'd addressed it and discussed it with my boss.
They hadn't been done, but that was due to X Y and Z (beyond our control).

It was pretty ill-informed stuff, which was enlightening as to what the MO of the person is.
