I managed to keep one on the phone for over half an hour onceby first pretending to be thick, then pretending my laptop ran Linux, so no Start button, Internet Explorer, or any of the other stuff they wanted me to click on.

I managed to get one to call me back a couple of times over the course of a week.Never did get to the bottom of what was wrong with my computer though :(
