Everything has fallen into place, my boss is even possibly buying it for me if I do X by Y - which I will.
- I can take it into work whenever I want, I got my own office so it doesn't effect anyone else, aslong as I look after it; which I will. In writing permission from my boss; built into my contract.
- At home I'm making a special place for it in the office, making the whole flat dog-friendly, ie, no cables laying about, pills in special places, all of that.
- Complete permision from the managing agents that it wouldn't effect the terms of my lease; in writting.
- Financally getting myself into place, that's not quite there yet; but not far.

I'm not 100% sure yet, I still need to research it more [I mean, i've googled Puppies* every day for the last 20 years, but the more info the better]
But currently the top runners are something that isn't a puppy, and for breeds (in no order), on my lists are
- Poodle Crosses; Cavapoo, pugapoo, etc.
- Pugs
- Yorkies & Scotties
- CKCs
- french bulldog

But i'm open to any Lap/Toy breed, aslong as it's docile.

* Ok, I haven't really, i'm a bit more adult than my persona; but i've looked up all sorts of stuff over the years

i agree, puppies are divine, but a lot of extra work. if you get one that's a young dog, already housetrained etc, that is easier.

i think the crossbreeds tend to be healthier. esp pugs - my friend has 2 and they are gorgeous, but she's always at the vet with them, poor things get all sorts. french bulldogs, not so docile. my brother's best mate has one, it's a holy terror!

Deffo, that's completely what I think.
I'm not 100% sure on the french bulldogs, don't really know enough about them currently so they're not high on the list. I like something with a bit of fur/hair, that's nice to stroke when it's resting on my lap.

they are cute, but that louis is a real little bugger
i think you want something quite peaceful, as you can't have it growling at people who come into your office!
