I've recently stopped looking for a girlfriend
Looking back at my life history, being desperate has got me nowhere, and caused a lot of stress. So increasingly I'm short with and dissmissive of eligeable women and if they pull any affectionate shit on me I refuse to allow my mind to go through the rigmarole of "ooh does this mean more" and I just disengage. If a girl texts me I wait 24 hours then send the minimum possible back and make it look like it might be sarcastic. I'm training myself to see stupidity in every woman I come across and learn to celebrate lonliness as it is a simple life without the stress everyone else's lovelives seem to come with. I am also making a valient attempt at drinking away my libido and growing my hair and beard so that my appearance approximates a paunchy "It's man" from Monty Python. I'm putting off getting a job for as long as possible (even thinking of claiming benefits) and find constant marijuana smoking helps deal with the general social isolation by adding a dose of paranoid justification for said isolation. The mantra "hell is other people" chugs through my brain constantly. When I read about b3ta bashes I fantasise about turning up but just sitting at the other side of the pub and never introducing myself - I find this enormously funny.

So far, this has singularly failed to get me laid. However right now I'm quite happy sitting here in la-la land.
