Whilst we are on the subject of computers
csrss.exe- for some reason it is trying to launch on startup, which from what I read on some forums is not what should be happening. Any ideas? The error I am getting on startup says "Windows cannot find c:\windows\config\csrss.exe" The rest of the error message is the usual making sure you're not being a mong bollocks. Any ideas though?

Go to your run program box shit
And type 'msconfig'

Go to the 'Start Up' tab and try and find it in there, then untick the box if it's there.

Csrss is a Windows service
but it should be OS level startup.

It might be a malicious program, so do the usual AV and AS removal.

It doesn't appear in the options for that.
This is rather strange.

Your computer is probably haunted then or something.

I've had a look at the registry, seems it was corrupt.
Sorted it now.

csrss shouldn't be in c:\windows\config
it should be in c:\windows\system32

Check for spyware etc.
