You know that sound you get when rubbing your fingers across glass? That kind of squeaky, irritating sound?

Well I slowly became aware of a strange noise. When I fully turned my attention to it I realised it was coming from my window (I'm on the ground floor of my house.) It was really loud and must have been going on for a while.
But as soon as I turned to look at the window the noise stopped.
The curtains are drawn so I can't see outside.

I'm scared...

My advice
is to buy a big, fuck off, heavy, scary looking sword.

Always work on the basis that might is right ..... I had a moment last night that we were getting 'done' and took a leisurely patrol about the property with 3 1/2 foot of cool steel.

It adds a modicum of security to your stance. And in my case, there's nothing scarier than a semi naked fat man with a sword (and a semi).
