I will quit smoking
I will procrastinate less
*disclaimer* - these are not resolutions (i don't like 'em) just a statement that you would like to make at the dawning of a new year

because I can no longer afford to fund my own lifestyle. pah.

..those are not statements I would like to make.. although I sorely need to give up the snouts, much as I love 'em. Will I ever?

I will be happier than I have been in a long time.
I will fish more.
I will cook more.

I gave up smoking on the 22nd. Piece of piss :)
I'll continue to focus on positive projects
I'll maintain my recovered mental health with good practise
I'll consider myself available to find a good woman
I'll actually start saving money
I'll start my own business
I'll introduce the country to Walking for Wellbeing, and hitch-hike around the coast of the UK in thirty days to raise money and awareness of the charity
The list could go on... but these are the things that will happen in 2009.

I will try to worry about things less.
I will remember that one piece of cake now and then will not turn me into Jabba the Hut.
I will get laid more. Pfft!
Lastly....
This is the year that I will start drawing again and maybe go on to producing some prints too.

continue to keep the resolution I made many years ago that I would never again make New Year's resolutions ......
In other words, I'm too damn lazy to change.

I will continue to be at least as awesome as I was last year.

I will try to be nicer.
I will take steps to change my 'career' path.
I will learn a new skill.
Should do for now.

buy less but more expensive clothes (quality not quantity)
submit poetry twice a month
write 1000 words a day or for an hour - whichever is shortest
climb outside around the UK as often as I can
buy a bigger bed....
The only one I can see problems with is the climbing - it's an aim but I'm not being specific enough to be honest. I can hope.

* Finish off my sleeve
* Learn to play the drums
* Start my webcomic
* Try to lose some weight by getting back on my bike
* Go on holiday somewhere!
Hope you all had a great Christmas, and here's hoping that the New Year will be fucking awesome to everybody that deserves it!
