A question!
I've just been told that a relative of mine (aged 22) can't get a place to train as a barrister as she's too young.
I know nothing about this subject but suspect she can't be qualified enough yet...legal eagles of b3ta, tell me more!

more likely she still has some qualifications to get - has she done her bvc?

unless she means advice she's been given by someone in chambers who told her to get a bit more life experience before applying for a pupillage, but i'd be surprised - some of the barristers i instruct have pupils that look about 15 to me!

I've been told
that she's 'already been called to the bar' but can't get a pupillage. I thought you couldn't get called until you'd finished your pupillage...but as I said I know nothing about all this.
I suspect she's been told to go away and get some life experience - the same was said to her brother when he applied to Cambridge.

This is the intellectual branch of the family - we have nothing to do with them as they're all stuck up.
