Wooo
went shopping with my drummer today, and my band has bought me a new Fender valve amp and a nice distortion pedal.

I'm v. happy. Hence this thread.

Congrats
Too bad I really have no idea what you are talking about with all those technical words.

yay for new amps
I was in Dundee recently so got to visit one of my favourite guitar shops. I stood in front of a Mesa Boogie for 10 minutes thinking, "Do I actually *need* £1500?"

I was moved on by staff after my drooling trailed off my shoes and slimed on to their carpet.

Thats
*exactly* what I do in strip clubs.

Nice!
Which one did you get in the end?

And which pedal?

I got a Fender Blues Junior
15 watts but fucking hell it's loud!

got a Boss Blues Driver to go with it, which sounds great.

Sweet
I thought that would suit you :)

15 real watts is pretty killer innit, when you've been accustomed to '100W' transistor amps!

the difference is amazing
it's so expressive and dynamic compared to what I'm used to.

thanks for the help and advice, definitely got you to thank for pointing me in the right direction!
