Tomorrow, I have a very minor operation on my arm that will require me to have 5 weeks off work. H'mmm? arm in brace for 10 days still leaves me with 25 odd days to lounge around be silly.
Now the bad news. My computer monitor would not work this morning. It is exactly 3 days past it's guarantee date. Grrrrrrrrr!

If it's a TFT it'll either be the PSU or the backlight. One is an easy fix and the other is slightly fiddlier.

It's not manufactured by Alfa Romeo by any chance?
My experience of Alfa Romeo components is that they'll fail within 0.00001 seconds of warranty expiry.

Thank you for all concerned.
Snee was right. All I had to do was turn it on and off. More specifically at the fuse box.
Other than that all I did was wiggle wires and threaten the computer with a big screwdriver.
Life is good, long live Sparta!
