Youth silenced
It's in the reply.

Mate of mine was travelling with his father on a bus from Ely to Cambridge at the weekend and they ended up sitting near to an entirely black clad 14 year old who was listening to music from his mobile… without earphones.

Twunt.

Now my friend generally looks like a Sunday broadsheet reader but he is well up on his popular music and could spot that the album being listened to was Encore by Eminem. After about half an hour of annoying hiss and crackle, a fiendish plan was hatched. Whispering to his 60 year old dad he fed him the exact dialogue required to start a conversation with this street smart gansta from The Fens.

“Is that Eminem’s last album? Are you looking forward to his new release Relapse? To be honest I prefer his earlier stuff when he was rapping with Snoop and Dre.”

“…”

The remainder of the bus journey was enjoyed in peace and quiet.

nice
im currently listening to Knowle West Boy by Bristolian rapper (of sorts) Tricky - it's his usual mish-mash of sounds and ideas peppered with moments of brilliance.

Nice work!
It's one of my (many) pet peeves, people playing music through their phones. Everything, even music I like, sounds terrible.

I commend them on a wonderful, non-violent solution!

yeah man but prepare to have yer heart broke
cos they only made two albums before splitting.

Their second, 'They Came From The Sun' is also excellent.

They also made one collaborative record called 'Print Is Dead' and promised another which hasn't apeared.

It's worth owning.
