My mother loves these, and they make an easy christmas present each year. My friend once came up with some possible titles, am strongly considering writing some of these
"Abandoned, and then my legs fell off"
"Made for a maid" - The harrowing tale of a little girl conceived so she could be a modern slave.
"kicked not cuddled" - an abusive childhood in the Liberties
"Ma, he sold me to the blood donor clinic"
"Beaten not beloved"
"Bashed, not blessed"
"A child called Nit" - the true story of a child left untreated for head lice
It upsets me that my nation, which gave the world such fantastic authors as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde and Marian Keyes, can produce so many of these
I've off to cry into my guinness, from my single eye, holding my glass between my feet due to lack of arms.
EDIT: While dying of the consumption from the damp of the river, which I swim in to catch fish for my 18 younger siblings
