Funeral
I've got to go to one in a bit. They do such things over here in Spain - weddings and funeral vigils at night. I'm worried about getting the urge to laugh as I don't know the deceased at all and when I get uncomfortable I laugh. It's my brother-in-law's mum, but family law here dictates that I must be there or be forever spat upon at future family "events".

Does anyone else get the urge to laugh at the wrong time? How can I control it? I'm doomed...

It was the first thing I thought of
And really, if this isn't the place to post the first thing that enters your head, where is?

If you've never seen coupling I recommend it
Especially Jeff and his deranged theories.

Ooh Coupling!
I've never forgotten that scene.

I was at a friend's grandfather's cremation. I didn't really know anyone there other than my mate. It was obviously a rather sombre affair and it had come to the point where the coffin goes through the curtains and off to be cooked.

'Fields of Gold' started playing over the PA, and many members of the congregation started to weep in grief. I was devastated when my brain started reciting 'I'm a firestarter, twisted firestarter!' over and over.

I also thought it somewhat insensitive that, when we all gathered outside to chat and drain cigarettes, smoke started pouring out the top of the crematorium and little bits of ash floated down around us.

One of the best british comedies
Rarely equalled, never beaten, if only for consistency.

"Lesbian Spank Inferno".

Erm!
Think of something very sad?

Update
Am back from the funeral. It wasn't any laughing matter, actually so my fears were unfounded. Just as it was all about to start, we got a phonecall saying the brother-in-law's dad had just died too. Probably of a broken heart. I feel so sad :(

Sorry if anyone reads this and it makes them sad, but I had to share.
G'night all.
