Help me, internet!
I wanna keep my bookmarks online instead of on my phone, in case of a crash or me losing my phone.

I suppose what I'm looking for is a social bookmarking site like Digg, StumbleUpon etc, but I'd like to make an informed choice.

So which would you recommend to a stranger on the internet?

Delicious
1) I use it
2) Loads of smart people I know use it
3) It's easy to get to your links simply by typing a url e.g. www.delicious.com/szczypka/b3ta+qotw
4) There's a pretty clever plugin for FF which lets you access your bookmarks quicky and you can order them as you like (frequency is my favourite)
5) You can share bookmarks with other delicious users easily (the tag is for:)

The only caveat is that I'm not sure how useful it would be on your phone since I rarely use it on my iPhone. However, saying that it's still very quick and easy to get to the place you want using the <baseUrl>/<userName>/<plusSeparatedTagString> format.

Another vote for foxmarks/xmarks
I've used foxmarks for a year or two now and it's all of teh awesomez.

You can edit the bookmarks via their website and set up different bookmark profiles for different computers (e.g. home, work, parents etc...)

I believe foxmarks has just changed its name to / been bought by / otherwise merged with xmarks so that's the one to use now.
