Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
I was out with the missus yesterday in the local computer game emporium and we saw offers for Rock Band and Guitar Hero world tour...and seeing as she wants a karaoke game and I can't play a guitar we thought we may pick up one of these games, but my question to you dear B3tans is this...

We've got a Wii so which one should we get?

All suggestions are welcome...

Guitar Hero. Possibly cos I've played it far more than Rock Band.

Get on wikipedia
Both are incredibly similar games in terms of actual gameplay - for me the difference is in the song selection. Wikipedia has a good list of each track list so I would judge it on what songs you prefer.

In my opinion Rock Band has a much better selection.

Guitar Hero
In my opinion rock band has better songs but guitar hero definitely has better kit.

I work for GAME, and we have had many many MANY sets of the rock band instruments brought back as faulty.


As for the compatibility with the other one, alas on the Wii you are well and truly fucked, but on the 360 or the ps3 they are fully inter compatible.
