Are you a QOTWer? Do you want to start a thread that isn't a direct answer to the current QOTW? Then this place, gentle poster, is your friend.

has meant that I have done no work today. Hopefully my gamecube should be here tomorrow, but that means that I have to do lots of work today so I can spend tomorrow playing with it as I have college on Friday.
Not to sully the derth of interesting threads on here in the slightest as it's been a good day on OT for the first time in ages.

today has been the best OT day for ages, and I've got fuck all done as well...

...did I miss something? What killed off HSH?
I agree, though: it has been a diverse and interesting afternoon on OT.

it's all too samey in those threads with the same people posting the same thing time after time.

an HSH thread can be quite entertaining to read, sometimes less so. I certainly don't join in as often as I used to, mostly because of time constraints.
Depends on whether it's the same folks posting, or whether less-than-regulars pop in occasionally and liven things up a bit.

It's a lot easier on a mobile to be in one thread than to be constantly going back to the main page and picking a new thread. Ideally the HSH thread would have people asking this sort of question and posting rants about the budget or the post office.

I much prefer individual threads to one long thread. I know your pain though as I used to use my phone to come on here and it was annoying

But I don't think my work does.
I was happy to see the lack of HSH this morning, although I was all prepared for it to be a really quiet day.

a good day here on OT.
*goes to give Kaol's band a listen*

That if OT was like this every day people would run out of things to say and it would end up like /Talk.
Possibly.
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 16:17, Reply)
people don't mind it when someone goes on a long rant, whereas /talk is limited to a few lines, or you get a flaming
(, Wed 22 Apr 2009, 16:35, Reply)
we've pushed some of this morning's threads off the bottom of the page. That hasn't happened for quite a while.

died a while ago. It just became so shit that not even I could cope with its mediocrity.
...and I listen to Coldplay and U2*
*don't actually listen to Coldplay or U2
