Should I buy the DVD box set or is this one of those things that are great when you are a kid but are now just shite nostalgia?

But I wouldn't bother with the later episodes as the actor playing Pigsy changes after (I think ep.31) to a chap infinitely less entertaining than the first one. All he has in in his favour is that he's good in James Clavell's Shogun - a show that has similarly aged brilliantly.

I'm something of a Monkey nut (ho ho), having won the the first 9 episodes and a t shirt before they'd even been released.

I also have the soundtrack LP which I purchased for more than I'd care to admit to myself. And the original book, which is a great read.

If this makes me an utter penis, then so be it.

Nostalgia must be carefully aimed
I might well be 10GB into a 20GB download of every episode of the original Batman series from the 60s if it weren't illegal.
