I was into the Offspring in a big old way, easily my favourite band from the age of 13ish 'til 21ish.

Favourite song was, and still remains, Smash.

I loved pretty much all of the stuff from the first 3 albums (and a there were a decent few on Ixnay) and had all the bootlegs I could get my hands on.

Brings back a huge pang of nostalgia when anything of theirs pops up on my ipod.

I got into them when Americana came out, which for most is to late, but I think that's their best album (and their latest is great too).

I'd disagree that Americana was the worst one. It was the first one that started to hit main stream in a big way (Pretty Fly anyone?) but there were some good tracks on the album (Staring at the sun, Americana and Pay the Man - I'm looking at you)

The best Offspring track EVER!!!

However, they went shit after Ignition. Rancid are much better (especially their 2nd ST album) I'm quite a big fan of Bad Religion and Operation Ivy as well.

I'm in an English punk phase at the moment - listening the 'The Ruts' on repeat :0)
