Think you know music?
I have a foreign language mp3 in my collection from God knows where. It is named - and the ID3 information supports this contention - as The Fatima Mansions, "Humiliate Me". But while trying to find out what language it was in, I actually heard that track and it is completely different.

Here's the MP3. Anyone know who it is, or what language it is? I rather like it.

can't help old chap
but I like the song.

Language sounds almost like chinese or korean in some places, or like some eastern european in others....

It sounds 90% Japanese
Certainly the spoken bit about 3/4s through is Japanese.

try a bit of software called tunatic
might need to set your soundcard up so the output is the input (if you see what I mean)

might be able to identify the song from its database

No idea how to do that
I'm sure I have a microphone though. Around here. Somewhere.

japanese
but it sounds a little "makey up" or garbled, but then again my Japanese isn't great. The band are from Cork, Ireland, which makes it a bit strange to be singing in Japanese.

Exackerly
I'm pretty certain it's not Fatima Mansions. I went on Youtube for their "humiliate me" track and it's a completely different style and different singer.
