(we close at 12pm tomorrow).
Current plan: Go get full medical tomorrow, go to pub, spend night with boyfriend. Saturday night, go to Fleetwood Mac concert (floor seats...woo!)
What I really want to do: Go online, book flight/hotel in San Francisco, New York or Boston. Get the fuck out of town, switch my phone off, forget my laptop and just disappear without telling anyone. Not nobody, not even the boyfriend. I just want to run away for a few days.
Vote either A) stay in town, stick to the plans or B) Get the fuck out and do what I want to do right now.

I have a bunch of work contacts on the East Coast, but the only time I can get near them for business purposes is in Vegas at CTIA!

but you could tell the bf it's a work thing. probably best to tell him something. you do live with him, right? he might notice if you're gone...

Quite honestly, it's him I want to run away from right now.......yeah, he'll notice if I'm gone but....I'm to the point where I don't care anymore. Long story, it's tough to deal with.

Then go. Only telll him the bare minimum, but he needs to know something or he'll end up worried sick and might do something silly.

Call my boss who's on vacation and doesn't know what I'm doing this weekend....call my brother who'll say "I haven't talked to her in weeks"......call my girl friend who'll say "I saw her last night in the bar".
Look, I have a great life, but the people in it are shite. I have a life, but need to re-think what I want out of it instead of being there for everyone else. Selfish, yes?.
I'm a grumpy cow tonight and need to figure out what I want and need. Never mind me. Sorry.

But something silly as in call the police if you suddenly disappear without a trace.
Not selfish though. Not in the least. Mainly because I do the same thing occasionally, and it's good to get out and do it.

Go to the pub, then go for a medical. Otherwise A really.

Try 'The Radisson' in the Theatre District in Boston. Near the harbour (or should I say the Hahbah), the park, and the bar attached to the hotel did the best cocktails and dinner in town.
Sweet....

he's in Virginia. That's far enough away from California for an escape!

An excellent little city with a brilliant night life. If you happen to know where to look, that is.

but it would be dreadful of you not to tell the boyfriend. Because if he disappeared for days without telling you, you wouldn't be happy.
Being a free spirit is wonderful, as long as you don't hurt others - as I said to someone recently :-(
