College Reunions.
I am filled with inertia at the thought of it. Mrs Tugnut2 says this is what I always say but I will end up going and having a great time.

Whaddya think? Pros and cons please?

(Background - I have not been to any previous ones, I am in touch with a few friends who will be going, possibly bump into a number of ex g/fs.)

If I wanted to see them i'd have them on my facebook still and would see them on a regular basis. I have no curiosity when it comes to some of the fuckwits I went to school with.

I have to say never in my life would I even consider it
I'm in touch with the people I didn't despise from my college days already - the majority of the rest were irritating bell-ends I'd rather gargle bleach than endure for a second time. The thought of choosing to do so voluntarily is anathema to me.

It's this terrible attitude that keeps me away from Facebook too - I'm not already in touch with a bunch of spanners from my past for a very good reason, and I'm more than happy for it to stay that way.

Whether this makes me a misanthrope with a superiority complex or simply a private person who knows who his friends are is a matter for conjecture...

I'm going to mine tonight
and only because we're going to do this.

I'm going, in a wheelchair, pushed by another old pupil. I'm going to be very dirty, pissed, and having obviously wet myself. He's going to push me in to the hall where i will be obnoxious, rude, loud and as offensive to everybody there. At somepoint, I am going to fall over in the chair, and try and crawl to the door, and if possible leave an actual trail of piss and shit. If i can make this as unpleasant and uncomfortable as possible for everyone there then I win.

Thats the plan anyway. In reality, probably cant be arsed. But I like this idea.

I go to mine every year, though to be honest ours is more of a students union reunion rather than a college reunion, so its much more fun :)
