The standard presents I fall back on are:1) a picnic hamper (these range in price from the cheap useful rucksack type ones to the posh wicker basket ones);
2) a wine rack filled with wine (again, size and budget vary);
or
3) a stunt kite.

Hmm....Now I'm torn between the stunt kite and the arc welder...I wonder which would entertain the sprog for longer...
