Argh ignorers
Around 3 I sent a text to a bunch of people, basically saying "Thinking of going out for a midweek curry. Interested?"

It's now 7. Number of responses: 0. It's fine if they don't fancy it, but I would have appreciated knowing that an hour ago so I could figure out what I was going to do for food

Which text should I send:
a) "Thanks for your timely response. It ensured I could plan my evening in a timely manner"
b) "Oi you ignorant twunts, when asked a question a reply would be nice"
c) "I've booked a table for 6 in your name, see you there!"

If I do that before eating
I won't be fit to go anywhere.

I'm thinking I'll whip up something here.

Still bloody annoyed though.

None of the above
a) is too passive aggressive, and when it turns out the friends in question all have perfectly valid reasons for not getting in touch (phone fallen in deep fat fryer rendering it unuseable, tractor ran over foot and have therefore been in hospital, dog has just died in a horrible blender accident, etc) you will feel like a twunt, and a snidey one at that.

b) as above but you would just feel like a twunt, not a snidey one.

c) actually you could use this, as at least you could to pass it off as genuine thoughtfulness if necessary. But deep down you'd know that you shouldn't have jumped to conclusions, and are therefore a twunt.

EDIT: Of course when it turns out they are just plain ignorant, you can then claim the moral highground and legitimitely act the injured party, having not directed any blame first.

Turns out
All but 1 of them are at a wedding in Norfolk for someone I don't know and would really rather be going for a curry.

Glad I wasn't sarcastic or passive-aggressive now. Thankyou b3ta!
