Have written an e-mail to the head and and asked girlfriend to proof read it (my swedish is abysmal). It's also got a corrected version of her e-mail, done in exactly the same way I'd do a proof read for her students (unprintable and uncopyable PDF), with the points that you lovely people have made (particularly the one about extra tuition).

This teacher is a bit of a cow... I'd have happily looked after the entire classes english work as there is only 15 of them, and it doesn't take me too long to do each one.

Well, yes
I have to - the head of language is a spanish teacher, and his english is awful. So Swedish it will have to be. Ok, I'm cheating - I get free translation services.
