There is a lot of humour on here I don't agree with.I just ignore all the rape and Maddie jokes, even though I don't find them amusing and concentrate on the other stuff. I think because there is a lot of people who have never experienced these bad things happening then they can joke about them. I doubt if someone had had a child abducted then they would then find those jokes amusing no matter how wacky their sense of humour. However, I have been known to smile at the odd crass joke and I think it's just a defense mechanism. We joke about these things because if we didn't then the full horror of the situation would hit us.
