For the last 5 years
my aim has been to have my current boss's job by the time I'm 30.

At the time, I was 3 levels below him in the hierarchy. Now I'm immediately beneath him. If it looks like I'll take longer than the next 3 years to get there, he'd better start getting suspicious about the coffees that I'll start making for him.

EDIT: I did have an ambition when I was about 10 to be a F1 driver. Lack of any sort of parental funds put pay to that one, and the fact that I can't even fit in the F1 car in our reception area.

I had the F1 ambition too
I also lacked the parental fundage but I could fit in the car so I guess I can say I'd be a better F1 driver than you :p
