I think it would work quite wellThe Lib Dems are kind of the perfect opposition party.
I'd like to think we'd end up with a compassionate, liberal conservative governemnt that was kept in check on social-welfare and healcare by the opposition.
If only people would just stop voting for Labour.

I could see it happeningit'd be quite a shocker for labour. brown would be remembered for not only ruining the economy, but taking labour from the top spot to not even in opposition.
