God we're all dooooooomed

One coucil seat will make fuck all difference, and when the councillers shows himself up, which he will, they out next time around.

Extreme parties always to well in times of turmoil, the equibilbriam will return.

They are invariably quite stupid people
and tend to not turn up to many meetings and get caught fiddling their expenses and stuff.

That's what happened with the guys that got in on the Isle of dogs.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:16, Reply)
Oh good, it's only 1 council seat
1 too many though.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:15, Reply)
I'm looking forward to the next General Election
when the Lid Dems become the opposition party ahead of Labour.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:12, Reply)
If this actually happened I would be as pleased as a large bowl of punch.

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:13, Reply)
I think it would work quite well
The Lib Dems are kind of the perfect opposition party.
I'd like to think we'd end up with a compassionate, liberal conservative governemnt that was kept in check on social-welfare and healcare by the opposition.

If only people would just stop voting for Labour.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:23, Reply)
I could see it happening
it'd be quite a shocker for labour. brown would be remembered for not only ruining the economy, but taking labour from the top spot to not even in opposition.

a fitting end. the one-eyed loon.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:25, Reply)
I'd quite like the lib dems to win,
they wont, but still would be good.

I like their economics guy, I'm not a massive fan of Nick Clegg.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:19, Reply)
I like Vince Cable

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:21, Reply)
that's the fella,
yeah one of my favorite politians, he can score more political points in one interview than Hazel Blears has done in her life.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:22, Reply)
He's the deputy party leader isn't he?

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:23, Reply)
He's their shadow chancellor

He is also

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:27, Reply)
It's astounding that
of the three parties, he's the only one in charge of finance who actually has experience in finance.

Now I realise that it's hard to find people with experience in say, pensions and justice to look after those departments, but surely finance is the most job where some experience is most important.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:31, Reply)
I like the name.
I reckon he's a superhero or something.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:23, Reply)

I didn't know what Nick CLegg looked like until a few weeks ago
But that said, having heard him being interviewed, he's actually got much better recently.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:24, Reply)
Oh, I take the opposing view,
he's turning into Cameron.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:25, Reply)
He sort of sums up the nice things in this country
like tolerance, evenhandedness and being continually disapointed.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:26, Reply)
He's alright
He's no Paddy though.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:25, Reply)
I bought paddys autobiography
mainly for the stuff about being in the marines and the SBS.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:26, Reply)
Was Paddy in the SBS?
they're supposed to be the hardest of all the forces aren't they.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:29, Reply)
He was indeed!
Mmm...hard...
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:30, Reply)
Paddy was always hard
especially for his secretarys.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:31, Reply)
That's what they're there for!

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:36, Reply)
I'll remember that
when I get a secretary
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:36, Reply)
Won't do you any good.
I've been asked to kick you in the nuts tomorrow night and I might wear my boots.
That'll put an end to your nob-related fun.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:42, Reply)

(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:25, Reply)
Basically they'll throw out Sinn Feign from the Irish assembly,
bring in death penalty for all convicted IRA members.
Then "welcome" Ireland into the British Isles.

Basically they want to take over Ireland.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2009, 15:29, Reply)
What?!

That doesn't sound very lib demmy, and what make them think Ireland would want to be part of Britain?

Wait you taking the piss, yes?
