It's different depending on who your and the recpient's email providers are....But some of them limit the max size of attatchments, if that helps.

If you have a Flickr account and their "Uploadr" software, it makes it really easy to share images.You can set something as 'family' (and/or) 'friend' only, and create Guest Passes, so she doesn't even need an account.
