The Power of Internets
I just used www.just-eat.co.uk to order a takeaway curry.

Admittedly it wasn't a great curry - it was a bit sweet for my tastes, serves me right for ordering something unfamiliar - but one more requirement to interact with a human being has been removed. It's the future baby!

Yay for another way of getting rid of human contact!
However, my little backwater isn't covered. Booo!

Aha!
This address is plastered all over the takeaway opposite our local and I've wondered for a little while now what it's all about.

But obviously I've been drinking at the same time so have forgotten to check when I get home.

Even when ratarsed we avoid the place so the site ought to have a disclaimer that it is not liable for anyone contracting Botulism or Weil's Disease from the establishments it represents.

EDIT - I've just had a look at BD2/BD10. The only two decent takeaways in the area aren't listed. A couple that are listed suggest a 45 minute delivery time but are so far away they must be using a helicopter.

And, sho'nuff, there's the Idle Spicy Kitchen, Albion Road, BD10, an establishment who's only contribution to the greater good is keeping the local rodent population in check/batter.

It's basically a "we'll provide the internet presence"
for small businesses.

There's another one - www.meal2go.com - I looked at too. I'm guessing they're just a pass-through to an email account with automated receipt processing or something. Quite a clever business idea when you think about it.
