Just because you look like Satan does not mean you look cool.
And whatever vestiges of coolness you may have will immediatley be wiped out wearing those silly trainers.

my reservoirs of cool are so deep that a pair of trainers, no matter how silly, can't diminish them.

in fact, by wearing those trainers it means that they become cool ;-)
