Thanks to that gimp, I have to repay 9% of my net earnings (after 20% tax and 11% NI of course) to the Treasury (covertly operating under the name, 'Student Loans Company', and pay interest on the outstanding balance at above the rate of inflation, because I had the temerity to better myself at university.

Not that I'd mind that much except he had a gratuitous (sp?) education himself, not paying for anything, as the government of his time felt that education of the masses was a good thing.
