And while I'm on the subject
WHAT THE CUNTING FUCK has happened to the fucking weather ?

It starts getting darker in less than 2 weeks. I'm shivering. It's mid-day in June. It's wet. It's pants.

Where is the global warming we were promised, eh ?

Some one said the exact same thing to me earlier on today,
I thought to myself: "what a stupid thing to say".

It's always shit in June
Blame Glastonbury.

I've resisted the temptation to have my car's aircon recharged, each and every time I've done this I've been rewarded with a shit summer.

I read in the London Times, no less
that it's normal and we have this every year. It's our very own British monsoon.

It'll be warm again by the weekend.
(, Wed 10 Jun 2009, 13:16, Reply)
No, no
I just checked. It'll get warmer for Friday, then crappier on Saturday and back to the freezing monsoons on Sunday.

Bugger.

The term Global Warming is inaccurate
Climate Change is what you're after. By and large the weather is warmer but the most prominent effect is more extreme weather. You know the sort, the kind of weather that likes to take it to max and use words like gnarly and bodacious.

Did I mention I'm a child of the 90s?

That's a toughie.
Raphael or Leonardo, I reckon. Michaelangelo always struck me as a bit of a dick. With potential to be a rapist.

Donatello
I probably wouldn't have become a scientist were it not for him. And he had a big stick.

Have fun this weekend dude, watch out for the shaved eyebrows ;)

Oh yes.
You'll be in a field somewhere, won't you. WELL FINE. I hope you have fun.

I really do, actually.

Global warming is still correct
because on average, the world is getting warmer.

But some places could get colder. It's just a global average. Likewise, total precipitation will increase with the temperature rise, as more water is evaporated from the oceans and it has to fall somewhere. But areas which already have water shortages are likely to get worse.

Bummer, eh?
