I have a question for you all...
Some of my friends are off to Download this weekend.

4 were being driven in one car, 2 others are getting in a minibus.

The 4 were driving, when they saw the 2 walking for their lift, and pulled over to say Hello. The walking lad (Alex) asked if they had any room for stuff in the car. The car was completely jam-packed, so they said no. Alex then said "Come on, it's only 2 crates, surely enough room for that?" Long story short, he got the extra two crates in.

I then get a phone call off James (car) an hour later, saying how he's really pissed off he has to carry Alex's beer, and that I should have a word with him. He was completely insistent on this. My reasoning that they should leave it in the car for him wouldn't work, as the driver wasn't going to the festival, was simply a chauffeur.

Now I'm being bitched at by James, whom I told he shouldn't have taken the beer in the first place. Therefore my question to you b3tans is this....

What do you reckon has been the best song in the last 5 years?

I might have to go with Puscifer and Momma Sed
or many of the songs off 4-way Diablo by Monster Magnet

it's a fucking hard question though. Joe Bonamassa has done some awesome stuff. The new Metallica album is incredibly good....

damn you!

I reckon your friends should MTFU
Whatever song it is I like, it's probably cool and edgy and makes ladies want to dance provocatively in front of me.

Vicarious
by Tool... though the whole of that 10,000 Days album is pretty sweet. Though its a pretty damn tough question: heavily into Jets To Brazil at the moment, but fuck knows if that stuff was released in the last 5 years. As for your mates - tell them to kiss and make up. It might be the start of a beautiful (homosexual) relationship.

There are songs I keep going back to...
Some will lead to me being ridiculed...
Into Oblivion - Funeral For A Friend
Power Trip - Chimaira
Metalingus - Alter Bridge
Mass Destruction - Faithless
Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand
The Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

But for me, the best song of the last 5 years, due to the fact I'll still love it every time it's played is *drumroll*

Mr Brightside - The Killers

*ducks*
