Lot of jobs in it though.
My point being I could've done a much easier degree, and still ended up where I am now.

It's very competative,
and design companies tend to go in and out of buisness really quickly.

Yep, they do.
Which is why in-house design is the way to go.
Not as exciting, but more secure.
