They have all the customer numbers up on the screen, so when your number is called, at least two people will stand up at the same time as you and have a nosey at what you're buying. Then if it's better than the toaster they're getting, they'll try and mug you for it on the way out.

TK maxx isn't that bad
and I made a lot of money from Cash converters when I used to buy their N64 games for £1 each and sell them on eBay for £10.

The one to watch out for is Matalan. That's fucking horrible. Especially the Leytonstone one.
