how to make a Vista PC sync with a PS3 so's I can watch things using the PC as a media centre? I got some lovely shiny discs in the post today and want to watch them on the PS3 but the PC isn't co-operating and I know my laptop used to be able to do it!
(also need to get flatmate off the PS3 first...)

I do hope you're not offended, but I have an Xbox 360, but the DVD drive doesn't work.
Just to get the convo going, what sort of games does everyone like? I love Peggle and Portal.

Used to have a 360 - or rather my flatmate did - which he traded in so we could get more PS3 games.
Very fond of Guitar Hero World Tour and LittleBigPlanet. Oh, and Ratchet and Clank is full of win.

I really liked playing that Paramore song "That's what you get".
LBP looks like amazing fun, I really like the idea of it.
Ohhh, Mirror's Edge was ace too.

LBP rocks but most of the functionality is in its online play; you can't complete it unless you go online. Making your own levels is fucking awesome though.

I don't think it will work.
Fucking Microsoft!

A lot of media centre functionality is built in to Vista.
