Sometimes when things are going badly.
It's helpful to remember that there are friends and family who are just as worried and will be there to help whatever happens.

I have been relying on friends and family a lot lately.
It has been friends who have given me the odd jobs, and my family has been supportive- my parents tell me that if I really get stuck they'll help me financially. While it is helpful to know that people care and worry, it's still somewhat demoralizing to depend on others for basic needs...

Not when they know you would do the same in an instant if the positions were reversed.
