Look for other jobs that would involve the sorts of things you're doing now (might have to find a few to cover everything), tell your boss about the discrepancy in pay and ask for a review.
It's much better to do things that way first. If it doesn't work resort to doing only things in your job description.

suddenly cutting back on what you are doing will only serve to aggravate people and while that is good in priniciple, in reality it doesn't help anyone.

And actually before you resort to cutting back to doing just what's in your job description I'd start applying for other jobs and using your current boss as a reference but ask companies you're applying to only to contact your boss after an interview. Could be a nice way to kick your boss up the arse. (Credit to CHCB for that idea)
