Some of it is due to natural effects, some is exaggerated by people climbing on the bandwagon for political means, of being told to by others. I do think it is a real thing and that we need to change our lifestyle in some ways (great coming out of the mouth of the person who takes around 30 flights a year), but it's nowhere near as bad as it's made out.
The one thing that does concern me is running out of the lovely organic chemicals that we seem so intent on burning... the sooner we're on hydrogen fuel cells and electric cars, the better! Once we have a better way of getting the electricity for electrolysing hydrogen (interesting things going on there, a new catalyst has been found - urea).

it comes back to the usual thing, most of the measures that are being suggested are sensible ones, it just bugs me that the emphasis is so much on CO2, but if that's what it takes to get joe public to go along with things then so be it.
it does slightly concern me that it means that more important things might be overlooked.
just got to count on the clever people keeping their heads down and getting on with developing nuclear fusion and cars that run on abundant stuff.
