I hate anime
I can't get past the really shit animation and dubbing to even work out if there's a story worth watching. Sweary Jr has just purchased seasons 1 & 2 of Bleach, which is particularly grating on me just now.

The way to watch it is in Jap with subtitles.
No irritating dubbed voices and the plot often makes more sense.

Unless it's Evangelion, which never makes sense.

Which I find equally offputting. I quite like the art style, even though it is all a bit samey, but the animation is so jerky and crap it makes my eyes bleed.

I detested Dogtanian for the same reasons.

A fair point; the style of some of them irritates me to high hell. One Piece especially.
Elfen Lied is awesome though...

Most irritating theme tune ever. People seem to have fond memories of it; I don't. Even at 12 years old I fucking hated it with a passion.
