I hope soGranted it's not my job to be her counsellor, but all I could do was reiterate everything the vet had said to me...it's a tricky surgery, but she's young so her chances are good. Nothing is certain though.

Are there any vets that offer counselling services for their pets' owners?I've heard of data-recovery companies that employ counsellors.
