After about a year of using it the scroll wheel on my wireless mouse has stopped working all the time. Works intermittently, seemingly at random. Everything else works fine, and changing the batteries doesn't help. Drivers are up to date.
Suggestions on how/if I can sort it out without buying a new mouse would be appreciated.

rather see if this one can be salvaged first. it's a nice mouse. plus it uses the same wireless dongle thing as my keyboard.

poke around with a screwdriver for a few minutes trying to see what's wrong, give it a blow out around the wheel area, try to put it back together again, fail and go and buy a new mouse.
