I actually loved House on Haunted hill as Geoffrey Rush made such a good Vincent Price wannabe. The special effects were godawful, but it was highly entertaining watching them all get picked off. Did you watch the bit right at the very end after the credits? I get full on chills watching that.

The Haunting was utter shite
Catherine Zeta Jones rubbish. This one started with the coolest theme park and ended with a rubbish monster made of smoke that chased people.

is fucking brilliant. No special effects, just noise, and black and white brilliance.
