besides, America isn't the only place with ready made foods, I doubt most of the people there only eat meals they've prepared themselves every day of the week.

Not a valid condemnation
I've just booked my 2010 holiday in the US and one of the things I'm looking forward to is the food.

Yorkshire Pudding, however, only tastes good when made by your mother.

Other than occasionally visiting me my mother has no association whatsoever with Yorkshire but still makes the best Yorkshire pudding in the world.
