perfected the art of the amusing caption on the photos? I said it was FHM a good few years back, but my mate disagrees.
I don't actually mean "Which?" magazine.

So I can't check. But I seem to remember they were quite selective and quite funny. Nowadays, they're all doing it. Particularly in gaming console magazines where they give almost every picture a 'witty' caption.

By taking the most boring photo possible and putting a genius caption on it.
Beats the hell out of 'A horse, yesterday.'
It's often been said that captions are the soul of a magazine. They should tell you something you didn't know, make you laugh, or be deleted by the sub editor.

in the 80s, long before any allegations against him, they captioned a picture of Michael Jackson in a mack with "Hello kids. I'm Uncle Disgusting." and a picture of Nathan from Brother Beyond with "Look at my 'mazing girth!"
