Yup
Normally I dont give a fuck when someone famous dies, but I was saddened over this.
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 14:04, Reply)
I think I care more than when other famous people die
because he was famous because of what he created and not because of a bunch of stuff he did in the media. He married his high school sweetheart stayed with her till he died and apart from his film making/writing/producing I never heard anything about him.

He never got out of a car with his legs spread flashing his man parts.

I'll be honest and say that I'd be more upset if he'd continued making excellent films after 1989, but the rest of them were pretty poor in my opinion. I adored everything he did before that though and will be watching them all again at some point over the weekend. My favourite cinema is doing a John Hughes double bill on Tuesday, they're still hashing out the details though, but I reckon it'll be Planes trains and automobiles and Ferris Bueller's day off

That would be my choice for a double bill
but then nobody asked me

cunts

I would tend to agree with you.
Planes, Trains... that will always be a favourite. The 'pillow' scene, esp. Truth be told, I miss John Candy more.

Aww I miss John Candy too!
In fact I might have to watch The Great Outdoors this weekend now!! :)

Oh, yay
That's a good one. Hard to believe he's been gone so long.
(, Fri 7 Aug 2009, 16:04, Reply)
