So far I've only managed to find one mount that meets my requirements but it costs around £120 and I need 2 of them.
Can anybody suggest websites for monitor wall mounts/desk stands? I'm running out of ideas =/

We made some desks with monitor mounts on a back-board, might be able to help.

Ahahahahahaha.

because I know said stands would adhere to European Working Directives AND no animals would be harmed in the making.

I like this wall mounted one but the this desk mounted one would do.

We've got those flat, slightly-pivoting ones, likely no good I'm afraid.
You looked at flat-screen TV mounts? They might be cheaper. Or ebay?

I've started looking at TV ones but I've not found any that have adjustable height. They're mostly like this.

Because in the "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" section there is a pair of shoes that look like they'd fit you.

Unless you can get two of them and mount them on something that allows adjustable height pivoting...

I've found these which are much better price wise but I'd rather the height adjustment were incorporated into the arm. Maybe there aren't such things at the sorts of prices I'm looking for.

I think they are just expensive things. I hate it when that happens
( , Wed 12 Aug 2009, 14:34, Reply)

Maybe the ones mounted on a pole will have to do.

they can be tilted side to side and forward and backward on their own mechanisms and you may as well just stick them on an stack of (height-adjustable) Yellow Pages.

But seriously, don't prompt him to look for a new chair.

I need to sit in them to know whether or not they're comfortable!

Or steal a high-chair from a restaurant.

For extra vertical screen space.

no wonder it is expensive, it's from the future
