For some reason, I'm desperately missing my mum and wishing she was around, and I'm also really missing having family around me. My new baby cousin was born, and everyone has seen her except me, and I won't get to see her until next year at the earliest.
And I really really just want my mum right now. how pathetic is that, I'm 35

This is usually the time of year she would come out and I keep remembering our trips we used to take and just wishing........well.........just she was here again.

there is nothing wrong with missing your mum. I know you loved her.
And there's nothing wrong with missing your family either - is there any way of getting maybe one of them to come out and see you first or for you to go visit earlier??
/hugs and love.

You can hardly feel ashamed for missing your mother. Mine has been gone much longer, but I still miss her a lot. The last QOTW didn't help!
Keep yourself happy, and drop me a GAZ on here, or a message on facebook if you need a chat?
EDIT: ARSE! I mean the question before that, Mobile Phone Disasters.

No, honey, not pathetic at all. My Mam is still around, but not in the same country and I miss her desperately. Sometimes I end up spending a fortune just to go home for a few days ... but I invent some excuse so the woman doesn't get all sloppy and big-headed :D
