OK...
Tunatic is great but doesn't work with humming :( It led me to another app which reportedly does work with humming, but it didn't.

I'm now trying to find a simple application to play the tune on which will tell me what the notes are that I can remember... I've become entangled in a convoluted series of downloads. I have some nice new desktop toys to play with now.

So: it's a slow souly bluesy ballady type love song, sung by a fella with a deep and velvety voice. Reminds me a bit of Willow by Joan Armatrading (awesome song btw). I think it's in 3 time, maybe 2, but I'm certain it's not 4. The bit I can remember is the last few words of the verse, and it's something like EF F EE C.

Did I mention
I can't remember any of the words? :(
Something slushy, about love. I think he says "my" something... "And my world is something" or "forever" might be the last word. Something like that.

It wouldn't be bugging me so much if I had some words to sing. Like the other day I had Magical Trevor stuck in my head but I couldn't sing it coz I couldn't remember it. It bugged me so much the next day I had to play it for half an hour before I went to work so I could sing my internal jukebox just to externalize it and stop me going insane.

mmm
I hate having songs stuck in my head that I don't know.

Google likes ten2five and the Bee Gees with those words.
